I hate the transition of New Year s Eve to New Year.
Feels like something significant should happen, like in the movies,
When in reality, it never does.
We all make plans to try and make it significant,
We get drunk and wasted
and we believe in stupid things like
How you spend New Year s Eve is how you ll spend your whole year.
But really,
Its just another day.
We'd all like to believe that its a time to start afresh and make it a better year than before
Really?
Enemies and friends carry forward,
why would anything change really.
I believed in everything else like everyone else last year
But nothing ever played it out like how i wanted it to.
